Breathe With Sandy
This is a live online breathwork journey. From wherever you are in the world, you join us in real time. Janax Pacha takes us on a sound journey while I guide you through various rounds of breathing, each one building on the last.
In this psychedelic breathwork journey we will be using this gift that we have been given, the breath, to access non ordinary states of consciousness. This is where deep healing can happen. Insights arrive, ideas surface, and stuck energy can be released.
Janax is a sound alchemist. He weaves flutes, drums, voice and organic electronic textures together through live looping, building every layer in the moment in response to what the journey needs. His music comes from years of travelling, studying rhythm at its roots and playing for ceremony, and it carries a ritual quality that meets the breath exactly where it opens. The breath takes you to the edge, and his sound carries you across.
No experience is needed. Lie down somewhere comfortable, put on headphones or good speakers, and come as you are.
How it flows
01
Arrival & Opening
Log in, lie down, get comfortable. A short opening to land together and set an intention before the breath begins.
02
The Journey
Breath and sound as one. Sandy guides you through rounds of conscious breathing and breath holds while Janax Pacha plays the sound journey live underneath, shaping the music to where the breath takes us.
03
Integration & Closing
Stillness, a gentle return, and time to share and land before you log off.
Meet Janax Pacha
Music as a form of prayer
Janax Pacha is the project of Gabriel Epstein, a musician, producer and DJ born in Buenos Aires in 1990. He started on piano, drums and guitar at ten, grew up on classical, blues, jazz, reggae, salsa, funk and bossa nova, and in his early twenties travelled across South America with almost no money, playing for tips on streets and in restaurants. Those years deepened his connection to Indigenous wisdom and the roots of rhythm.
Back home he turned to production and electronic composition. His first project, Chillout Sessions, fused electronic music with ethnic instruments and grew into Janax Pacha, a live looping project built to bring a room into trance, presence and deep connection. After years touring Europe and South America he settled for a time in Tulum, creating music for plant medicine ceremonies and shaping the ritual, shamanic approach you hear in his sound journeys today.
He describes his music as a form of prayer: a way to celebrate life, honour the earth and open hearts. He has shared stages with Estas Tonne, Mose, Ape Chimba and Alex Serra, played festivals like Boom and Medicine Festival, and his music has passed a million plays with tens of thousands of monthly listeners.
The name comes from the Quechua people of the Andes, who call the land of heaven Hanaq Pacha. In his own words, Janax Pacha is a concept: taking you from Mother Earth, Pachamama, to the land of heaven through vibration and sound. Or as he puts it, "Janax Pacha is not me. It is a state that we come to together."
Good to know
Who is it for
Anyone curious about breath and sound. Beginners are very welcome. You will be guided every step of the way, and there is never any pressure to do more than feels right.
What to bring
A quiet space where you will not be disturbed, something soft to lie on, a blanket, a pillow if you like, water, and headphones or good speakers so the sound journey can really land. Please eat light in the two hours before we start.
Please take care
Breathwork is intense. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a heart condition, severe mental health challenges or any serious medical condition, please check with your doctor first. You can always breathe gently and simply receive the music.
